My research has been primarily in the field of computational fluid dynamics; both fundamental studies of turbulence and turbulent mixing as well as various applied problems in external aerodynamics. Recently I have begun to focus on novel combinations of data-driven methods and numerical simulation for the purpose of surrogate modelling and prediction of physical systems.
